After graduating from McGill University Canada, Karim Ghammache moved to Mali in 1996 where he has been a self-made entrepreneur for the last 20 years. He re-structured a D, AA, and AAA type battery manufacturing facility to provide mobile energy to rural populations with great success.
He founded Omnium Invest in 2011 an investment company interested in early stage projects, and developed projects in agro-industry (MaliShi) and energy (Energy+). Karim has more than 20 years of experience in West Africa, and is chairman of the board of several projects which he initiated.
Karim has a Bachelor of commerce in finance from HEC Canada, and an MBA from McGill University – Canada. He is fluent in French, English, and Arabic.
